This course is designed to enhance the knowledge of Human Trafficking and how these horrific crimes affect our communities. Correctional and Probation Staff working in the field and Correctional Facilities contact Inmates, Probationers, and citizens on a daily basis which may result with information leading to a Human Trafficking investigation. The course will also define how minors are trafficked within the sex trade business. The students will learn the definition of Human Trafficking and Minors involved in Sex Trafficking and how Traffickers deprive or violate their victims by means of force, fraud, and coercion.
