This two-day symposium will cover a variety of law enforcement, gang and cartel related topics and current trends. There will be several different speakers who are all experts in their field and provide the most current information.
Day One – Crips & Bloods, Current Trends, & Gang Informants:
Multiple law enforcement speakers including gang investigators will illustrate current gang trends and tactics. A variety of criminal organizations and how the associations between criminal organizations have turned into lucrative partnerships will be examined. The variety of topics covered includes structure, cultural diversity of gang violence, gang tactics, communications, indoctrination, illicit activities, documentation, investigative techniques, recent case analysis, and prosecution techniques. Includes a Guest speakers who was a high-level Gang Leader. Additionally, there will be a candid Q & A session with the guest speaker.
Day Two – Intelligence Gathering, Jail Classification, AB 333 & Cartels:
Multiple law enforcement speakers including gang and cartel investigators will discuss and explore the tactics, influence and control of Cartels and the intricacies of intelligence gathering from institutional to major investigations. Institutional investigators will break down the jail classification process and how it relates to cases outside of the walls. AB 333, "The New Step Forward Act” and its implications on gang investigations will also be examined.
