ACTIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT, PROBATION & CORRECTIONS ONLY
We highly recommend our follow-on “Informant Management” course.
This eight-hour course will focus on the methods of cultivation and development of informants in both the custodial and street setting. How to effectively identify potential informants, the various types of Informants (including gang, jail and defendant informants), collecting intelligence during the development process, uncorroborated & unreliable information, entrapment issues, and legal and liability issues will all be examined. Additionally, documenting benefits received by informants, contracts and agreements, court procedures, protection aspects and “CAL WRAP” will also be covered.
This is an excellent course for anyone involved in Corrections, Investigations, Supervisors, Custody Personnel, Patrol Officers and anyone who deals with informants or personnel working in a Prosecution Unit.
Each student will receive an Informant Development guide.
