This course will discuss leadership & ethical issues, and how the LAPD culture which previously existed caused the ""Rampart Scandal"". The incremental steps and specific case studies of arrests, shootings, and incidents that led to corruption, the downfall and aftermath of ""Rampart"". The Instructor will discuss the leadership insights and lessons learned to impact, deter and deal with potential corruption. This unique course is presented by LAPD retired Captain Richard Meraz. He was the Commanding Officer of the LAPD Rampart Division during the ""Rampart Scandal". Discussion continues with leadership, values, ethical decision making, and ethical behavior for today's law enforcement.

Cancellation Policy:

If the student/agency cancels the course less than 48 hours prior to the course the tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE. However, the tuition can be credited to a future course.  


If the student "NO SHOWS" on the day of the course the course tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE. However, the tuition can be credited to a future course.
