This course will illustrate how social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Formspring, Myspace, Google Plus and others, are influencing juvenile drug use and crime by addressing the following questions. What are current the drug trends, how drugs are being sold and exploited on-line? How are drugs and sex referenced on-line and what should you be looking for? This course will also examine how the exploitation of on-line sex and drugs are affecting the youths and teens in our communities. From flash mob crime sprees to purchasing the most current designer drugs on-line will all be covered in this course.
