Testifying in Court

This course was specifically designed to enhance the
knowledge of Correctional Staff and Probation Officers with Courtroom
Testimony. Students
will learn the do’s and don’ts of testifying as well as the imitations of
testifying. The stages of court
procedures from various types of hearings to a jury trial will be explained.
Students will learn how to properly prepare themselves for testimony and
pretrial meetings with the Prosecutor and testifying an investigating officer.
During this course the students will participate in mock trial scenarios, which
include preparing reports, pretrial preparation and testifying on the stand.
